Zayed Khan took 7 rounds, had a secret wedding with his/her wife, did not know Hindu culture

Actor Zayed Khan has narrated the story of his/her marriage with his/her wife Malaika Parekh in an interview. he/she told that they got married secretly before having a grand wedding. And kept it a secret. Because he/she wanted privacy and only close people were involved, the actor had an interfaith marriage in 2005. Today they are parents to two children. Zayed Khan appeared on Amrita Rao and RJ Anmol’s podcast ‘Couple of Things’. Here he/she told about his/her marriage, ‘I have never talked about this before. There were 2000 names in our wedding guest list. All that was going on in my mind was whether this was a wedding or a circus. So we just called 30 friends and told them that we were going to Taj Village in Goa. There is a surprise for everyone there.

Zayed Khan married twice

Zayed Khan further said, ‘Malaika arranged the pheras and Pandit in a very lovely way. And we got married even before the wedding in Taj Village in Goa. We had seven of our rounds and it was such a lovely destination wedding. We really wanted to make our wedding one to remember. Wanted to have fun. And were married even before the official marriage.

The ‘Main Hoon Na’ actor told that although his/her family celebrates every festival and respects all religions. But he/she faced some difficulties at the time of marriage. According to him/her, ‘We come from a family where we celebrate all religions. We believe in everyone’s Gods. We don’t question. So these things were good for us. I still remember. I did not know the culture of Hindu weddings. So I asked Malaika to tell me how to do what. Then I will follow him/her.
