Bollywood actress Sonakshi Sinha had a civil marriage with longtime boyfriend Zaheer Iqbal on June 23 last month. Family members and close friends attended the wedding. After the registered marriage at home, a reception party was held the same evening, in which many well-known Bollywood stars were seen. The couple, who have been dating each other for about seven years, chose Singapore and Philippines for their honeymoon after marriage. Zaheer recently revealed that his/her planning for marriage was quite different from Sonakshi’s. he/she wanted to elope from the country and get married, but later he/she came to know that doing so is not valid. Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal revealed about their wedding planning in an interview given to Galatta India. Sonakshi said that she always planned to get married in front of the family. But then Zaheer interrupted her and said, ‘I wanted to elope… just go somewhere from the country, get married and come back, but I came to know that such a marriage is not valid in India.’

Sonakshi wanted to have a small wedding

Sonakshi told that she wanted to have a small wedding, while Zaheer’s plans were cancelled. The actress told that she had no problem with relatives and friends attending. She also told that they wanted to include all the people who are a part of their life in the wedding.
