Chandigarh. The 25-year-old car of Indian cricket team’s legendary all-rounder Yuvraj Singh is in the headlines these days. This car was gifted to Yuvi by his/her father Yograj Singh on a very special occasion. Yograj Singh has upgraded that sports model Honda City. he/she has changed many things inside and outside the car. Yograj has got the car colored yellow and Yuvraj Singh’s photo has been placed on it. Yuvi’s name is on every seat of the car, Yuvraj’s photo is on the music system and also on the speaker in the dicky. Yuvraj Singh was then elected Player of the Tournament in the Under-19 Cricket World Cup. On returning home, his/her father gifted him/her this car which is still giving competition to new cars. India won the Under-19 World Cup held in Sri Lanka in the year 2000 under the captaincy of Mohammad Kaif.
In an exclusive conversation with News 18, Yograj Singh told that when Yuvraj Singh came to Chandigarh last month, we both sat in this car at night and Yuvi drove. he/she was very happy and emotional too. Yograj Singh said that I wish that Yuvraj’s son should drive this car. Yuvraj Singh had performed brilliantly in the Under 19 World Cup. This was the beginning of his/her becoming a great cricketer. After this, Yuvi set many records on the international stage.
Father Yograj gave surprise gift to Yuvi
Yograj Singh told that when Yuvraj used to demand a car from him/her, his/her father used to say that first do something. After this, Yuvi was determined that he/she had to perform well. his/her father said that when Yuvi returned to the airport from Sri Lanka after winning the World Cup, he/she told his/her father that I have done what you were waiting for. he/she demanded a car from his/her father at the airport. Yuvi said that I have done that for which I should get a car now. Father and Yuvi’s mother had gone to pick up their son from the airport. Hearing these words of Yuvraj, father Yograj said that first make a place in the senior team, then you will get a car. However, at that time Yograj Singh had already bought a sports model Honda City car for Yuvi. When Yuvi reached home, he/she was surprised to see the car.
Yuvraj Singh’s international career
Yuvraj Singh played 40 Tests, 304 ODIs and 58 T20 International matches for India. During this period, he/she scored 1900 runs with the help of three centuries and 11 half-centuries in Tests, while he/she scored 8701 runs in 304 ODIs. Yuvi scored 14 centuries and 52 half-centuries in ODIs. Yuvraj scored 1177 runs in T20. he/she has scored 8 half centuries in T20. Yuvraj was a part of Team India in the 2007 T20 World Cup and 2011 ODI World Cup.
