On the day when India will play the fourth test against Australia, Pakistan team will face South Africa on the same day. If both India and Pakistan win, there is sure to be an upheaval in the WTC point table.

India can reach the top

If India wins the Boxing Day Test match, then its points in the points table will increase from 55.88 to 58.33 (PCT). With this, Australia’s team will reduce from 58.89 to 55.21 points. Similarly, if Pakistan wins, South Africa’s points will reduce from 63.33 to 57.58.

Only two matches can create turmoil
It is clear that the results of just two Test matches can create turmoil in the WTC points table. These are such results which are not impossible at all. India has defeated Australia in Perth. Brisbane test has been a draw. he/she will enter Melbourne as a contender for victory. Pakistan had defeated South Africa in the ODI match a day earlier. In such a situation, it should not be a surprise if Pakistan wins the test match also.

India vs Australia fourth Test and South Africa vs Pakistan first Test are to be played from 26 December. If these matches continue for the scheduled 5 days, they will end on December 30. Indian team has to play 5 test matches on Australia tour. The fifth Test will be played in Sydney in January next year.
