Winter Vacation 2025: From Delhi to UP-Bihar, know how many days of winter vacation in which state?

Many states in Northern India have declared winter holidays in schools. This will give children some respite from studies. This holiday is a matter of relief for both children and parents. It is a good opportunity to enjoy the winter season and festivals. In Delhi, the government has announced winter vacation in schools from January 1 to January 15, 2025. Apart from this, schools will also remain closed on December 25 due to Christmas. This will give children a long holiday at the beginning of the new year.

In Rajasthan, winter holidays are from 25 December 2024 to 5 January 2025. This will give children some time to rest. They can spend time with their family during this time.

In Haryana, schools will remain closed from January 1 to January 15, 2025, reports Economic Times. Students of Haryana will be able to enjoy a relaxing holiday after the hustle and bustle of the first half of the academic year.

Punjab has officially announced winter vacation for schools from December 24 to December 31, 2024. The duration of holidays may also be extended depending on weather conditions. This will ensure the safety of children in cold weather.

In Uttar Pradesh, winter holidays are expected from 25 December 2024 to 5 January 2025. However, official confirmation has not yet come from the State Education Department. Dates may be announced soon.

Winter holidays have also been declared in Bihar from 25 December to 31 December 2024. This will provide relief to children in cold weather. During this time they can study or play at home.

In Jammu and Kashmir, there are different holidays depending on the classes. Winter vacation for children of classes 6 to 12 will be from 16 December 2024 to 28 February 2025. Schools for children up to class 5 will remain closed from December 10, 2024 to February 28, 2025. This long holiday will give children a chance to enjoy snowfall.
