2024 proved to be a very special year for Bollywood actor Rajkumar Rao. his/her film ‘Stree 2’ created a stir at the box office. The film earned over Rs 800 crore and became the highest-grossing Hindi film of the year. Needless to say, now the fans are eagerly waiting for the third installment of ‘Stree’ franchise, regarding which there is an update. Rajkummar Rao talked about Stree 3 in a conversation with News18 Shosha, but from his/her words, It seems that the audience will have to wait a little longer for the third part.

‘Stree 3’ will not come soon

Rajkummar Rao said, ‘Stree 3 will definitely be made but not soon. We definitely won’t make it next year, because we don’t want to make just one project. Sometimes a film performs well and you want to take advantage of it by making a second or third part and you make it in a hurry. This is why it took us 6 years to make ‘Stree 2’ after the first film.

The actor also said, ‘Stree 3 will also take some time, but definitely not six years. Unless Amar (Amar Kaushik – director), writer Dinu (Dinesh Vijan – producer) and the entire team come up with a great story, we don’t want to rush into it. We don’t want to make such a film that people will say that the quality of the franchise is decreasing. We want to keep pushing our boundaries and take part three up a notch.
