Swearing in ceremony will be held on 5th December

The swearing-in ceremony of the new government in Maharashtra will take place on December 5. Before this, the meeting of BJP Legislature Party is considered very important. BJP state president Chandrashekhar Bawankule has said that the swearing-in ceremony of the Mahayuti government in Maharashtra will be held on Thursday, December 5, 2024 at 5 pm at Azad Maidan in Mumbai. Prime Minister Modi will participate in this program.

Suspense continues on CM’s name

This announcement has been made at a time when the suspense regarding the name of CM in Mahayuti is increasing. Eknath Shinde, BJP leader Devendra Fadnavis and NCP leader Ajit Pawar had met Union Home Minister Amit Shah at his/her residence in Delhi regarding the selection of the next CM of the state, but the picture is not clear yet.

Preparations for formation of new government begin

Union Home Minister Amit Shah, BJP President JP Nadda and top leaders of the ruling NDA alliance and all the Chief Ministers of BJP ruled states are likely to attend this swearing-in ceremony. Meanwhile, the administration has started preparations for the formation of the new government. The winter session of the state legislature is likely to be held from December 16 to 24.

Maharashtra’s acting Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, while addressing a press conference on Wednesday, said, “I have spoken to Prime Minister Narendra Modi. I told him/her that there is no hindrance from our side in forming the government. You take the decision, whatever decision the BJP takes, that The decision will be implemented. I tell you that whatever decision senior BJP leaders take regarding the post of Chief Minister, the BJP candidate will have full support of Shiv Sena.

‘Mahayuti’ alliance has got a huge majority in the Maharashtra Assembly elections. BJP, which is part of the grand alliance, has won 132 seats, Eknath Shinde-led Shiv Sena has won 57 seats and Ajit Pawar-led Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) has won 41 seats.
