After the success of the film ‘Animal’, Tripti Dimri, a resident of Uttarakhand, is progressing by leaps and bounds. She has a line of films lined up. After the recent release ‘Bad News’, she has about 3 films and now the latest report is telling that she might be seen in a biopic. This biopic is of none other than the best actress of the Hindi film industry, Parveen Babi, who was lost in the darkness of obscurity. Her affair with Mahesh Bhatt is still discussed and in the last moments of her life, there was no one to even ask her for water!

Reports are suggesting that Triptii Dimri is being considered to play the role of Parveen Babi. Tripti, who has played strong roles in ‘Animal’, ‘Kala’, ‘Laila Majnu’ and ‘Bad News’, may be a part of this most awaited project. However, the production including the director and other actors are yet to be announced.

Parveen Babi started her career with modeling

Parveen Babi was born on 4 April 1949 in Junagadh, Gujarat. Parveen was born 14 years after her parents got married. She lost her father when she was 6 years old. She studied school and college in Ahmedabad. Parveen started modeling in 1972 and entered the world of acting in 1973 with ‘Charitra’. The film flopped, but everyone noticed Parveen. She became an overnight success with Amitabh Bachchan’s ‘Deewar’.

Parveen’s affairs were more talked about than her films

Parveen was in the news more for her personal life than her films. She had a four year relationship with Danny Denzongpa and then dated Kabir Bedi. After this, her name was linked with Mahesh Bhatt. It is said that she lived alone. She left India in 1983 and went on a spiritual journey till 1989. It is claimed that she was suffering from a serious mental illness called schizophrenia. She also revealed that the industry was conspiring against her and tarnishing her image. On 22 January 2005, she was found dead in her flat. No one was present with her. She was 55 years old.
