Ayodhya: A case is pending in the Allahabad High Court over a minaret of an 18th-century mosque ‘encroaching’ on the proposed Ram path amid progress in the work on the Ram temple in the religious city of Ayodhya. The Lucknow bench of the High Court will hear the matter on Monday, July 24. It is said that a minaret of the Khajur ki Masjid located at Gudri Bazar in the heart of Faizabad city is coming in the way of 3 meters on the proposed Ram Path. In this case, Mutavalli Syed Parvez Hussain had given a letter to the commissioner demanding that the demolition be stopped.

Meanwhile, MP from Hyderabad and AIMIM supremo Asaduddin Owaisi tweeted in support of this mosque on Thursday. he/she said, ‘During the widening of Rampath in Ayodhya, the case of ‘Khajur ki Masjid’ has come to the fore. An illegal attempt is being made to demolish the minaret of the mosque and the person in charge of the mosque has filed a petition in the High Court. It is condemnable to try to break the tower by making pressure like this. he/she said that Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath should follow the law and respect this historic mosque of the Shia community.
Ram path will be 13 kilometer long
Please tell that 3 more grand paths are being built to reach the Ram temple in Ayodhya. These will be known as Ram Path, Bhakti and Dharma Path. Ram path will be about 13 km long from Sahadatganj bypass to Saryu beach. Preparations are on to cut a large number of big trees for its construction. Hundreds of private properties, 7 mosques, one and a half dozen monasteries and temples are also coming up for the widening of Ram Path. The administration says that the work of widening and strengthening of the Ram Path will be done in a better and beautiful manner by saving as many trees as possible from being cut. (Language)
