“Will rescind dozens of destructive, radical executive orders from the Biden administration”: Trump


US President-elect Donald Trump said on Sunday (local time) that within hours of taking office as the 47th President of the US, he/she will rescind dozens of “disastrous and radical” executive orders issued by the Biden administration , will announce those orders. As of “null and void” by the end of Monday.

Addressing the gathering during a candlelight dinner at the National Building Museum in Washington DC, Trump said, “With the stroke of my pen, I will rescind dozens of destructive and radical executive orders and actions of the Biden administration. And by this time tomorrow, they will all be invalidated,” as quoted in a video posted on Twitter by the Trump War Room, citing Fox News.

Trump further said that within hours of taking office, he/she will sign nearly 100 executive orders and said his/her administration will act decisively to address the many challenges facing the country, including immigration, inflation and border security. Will do.

Trump said the new administration would follow the motto of “Promises made, promises kept” and expressed confidence that his/her second term would surpass the “success” of his/her first term.

“Within hours of taking office, I will be signing dozens of executive orders, close to 100 to be exact, many of which I will describe in my address tomorrow… an effort to fulfill our promises to the people Will not waste even a moment. The president-elect further sharply criticized the Biden administration during his/her address, declaring that the incoming administration would end the “failure, disaster and decline” of the past four years.

Trump said his/her administration would swiftly address the problems facing the country at home and abroad and described the past four years as “bad.”

“Tomorrow, we will end four years of failure, disaster and decline. And we’re going to embark on four of the greatest years in our country’s history… We’re going to do things that no one thought were possible. We have inherited a nation that is grappling with crisis at home and abroad… It has been a long four years. nasty. It’s been a bad four years,” he/she added.

Donald Trump will be sworn in as the 47th President of the United States at the US Capitol in Washington DC on Monday (local time). he/she previously served as the 45th President between 2017 and 2021.
