New Delhi. The possibility of Indian cricket team’s wicketkeeper batsman Ishan Kishan returning to Team India has increased. Left-handed batsman Ishan has been away from Team India for the last 9 months. he/she may get a call from Team India for the upcoming T20 series against Bangladesh. Ishan is in excellent form at the moment. he/she has scored two centuries in the last 4 innings. he/she scored the first century in the Buchi Babu tournament while the second century was scored in the Duleep Trophy. Ishan can be included in Team India for the T20 series in place of Rishabh Pant. Pant returned to cricket in March. Since then he/she has been playing cricket continuously. Keeping in mind the Test series against New Zealand, Pant can be rested in the T20 series against Bangladesh. If this happens then Ishan can return to the team.

According to PTI, Rishabh Pant is India’s number one wicketkeeper in Tests. Team India now has to play more Test series. In such a situation, the Indian team management can give Rishabh Pant rest in the T20 series against Bangladesh. This can be done with Pant under workload. Ishan Kishan was dropped from Team India due to indiscipline. Currently he/she is looking in great form. Recently he/she performed well in domestic cricket. Keeping this in mind, the selectors can call Ishan in the team instead of Pant. Ishan played his/her last international match in November 2023 in the form of T20.

The Indian team may also rest opener Shubman Gill against Bangladesh. Apart from this, there are reports of giving rest to experienced fast bowlers Jaspreet Bumrah and Mohammad Siraj as well. India vs Bangladesh T20 matches will start from October 7. The first T20 will be played in Gwalior while the second in Delhi and the third match in Hyderabad.

Ishan Kishan has scored a double century in ODI International. In December 2022, he/she played an innings of 210 runs in the third ODI against Bangladesh. Ishan scored these runs in 131 balls which included 24 fours and 10 sixes. he/she completed his/her double century in 126 balls. he/she holds the record for scoring the fastest double century in ODIs. he/she completed his/her century in 86 balls while he/she completed his/her second hundred in 40 balls.
