According to a senior official of Airport Authority of India, efforts are being made to include almost all the things that make the architecture of Kashi Vishwanath Temple special in the new terminal building of Varanasi Airport.

In this sequence, the next pillars of the terminal building have been designed like the pillars of the main gate of Kashi Vishwanath Temple. The carvings of the windows in these pillars are exactly the same as the carvings done in the Kashi Vishwanath temple.
