Why is victory important for BJP which is facing rebellion and resignations in Haryana, know the 5 big factors

New Delhi: As the Haryana and Jammu-Kashmir assembly elections are getting closer, BJP has intensified its preparations. This is the reason why Prime Minister Narendra Modi has demanded the BJP to take action against the BJP. Narendra Modi has himself taken the charge. he/she has started election rallies in both the states. BJP hopes that this will help the party overcome the difficulties in election campaign. Rebellion and resignations are being seen since the list of candidates was released in both the states. In such a situation, the party has to make strategies on two fronts. Firstly, the party has to face its opponents, secondly, the rebels who have planned to contest alone by resigning. Whether it is Jammu-Kashmir or Haryana, the BJP leadership will not want to lag behind in the competition anywhere. This is the reason why the party has intensified the campaign.

PM Modi started the election rally

If BJP gets a decent number of seats in Jammu and Kashmir, it will be a good thing for it. This is because this is the first election there after the removal of Article 370. Removing Article 370 was a big decision of BJP. The party will definitely want to capitalize on this issue in this election. However, senior party leaders are scared in Haryana. This is because there is the effect of anti-incumbency wave, and the displeasure of close ones over ticket distribution is also a big reason. The party leadership is afraid that rebels may spoil their game. If this happens, the party may suffer losses in the assembly elections.

If BJP wins in Haryana even after these 5 blunders, it will be a miracle

Why victory is important for BJP in Haryana

If BJP loses in Haryana after the Lok Sabha elections, the opposition’s morale will increase further. A senior party leader admitted that a lot is at stake in this election. he/she said that by having its own government in Haryana, BJP is able to calm down the heat generated by the farmers’ movement to some extent. Defeat in Haryana will mean that another state will go into the hands of the opposition after Punjab, Himachal Pradesh and Delhi. The farmers’ movement had received the most support in these states. In the recently concluded Lok Sabha elections, the party suffered a setback in another BJP-led state, Uttar Pradesh.

The factor of farmer movement is important

According to a party leader, protesters from Punjab and Haryana could have been stopped at the borders before entering the national capital. The BJP government in Haryana, when the farmers’ movement was at its peak, prevented it from becoming a national protest. Losing Haryana means that such opposition-led protests and agitations can reach Delhi without any hindrance.

BJP would not want to let Gurugram go out of its hands!

Another aspect of Haryana losing is Gurgaon, which is the fastest growing area for investment and real estate in North India. Another such area is Noida, which is in UP. Two other such hubs are Hyderabad and Bengaluru, which are already in Congress-ruled states. The senior BJP leader said that if Gurugram also goes to the opposition, it simply means that almost all the fast-growing metropolises will be with the opposition. This could be more beneficial for the Congress than harming the BJP. This is because the opposition party is facing a huge shortage of resources. What makes the Haryana elections important is that after this there is the Maharashtra election, where the commercial capital is Mumbai. There too, the BJP is facing a tough fight from the opposition.

Special planning in ticket distribution

Some leaders in the party are questioning whether a lot of brainstorming was done in the list of BJP candidates in Haryana. Especially considering that it was identified as a major factor in BJP’s setback in crucial UP in the Lok Sabha elections. BJP’s core team for Haryana includes Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, election in-charge Biplab Kumar Deb and co-in-charge Satish Poonia. Biplab Kumar Deb, former Haryana CM Manohar Lal Khattar, CM Nayab Singh Saini, state BJP chief Mohan Lal Badoli and Haryana organization in-charge Faninder Nath Sharma played an important role in the selection of candidates besides deciding the election strategy. A source in Haryana said that the final decision was taken by Union Home Minister Amit Shah and BJP National President JP Nadda.

An effort to satisfy every class

However, sources also said, the rebellion did not mean that the selection of candidates was flawed. Unprecedented care was taken for this, said a leader. Sources said that no popular or mass leader was ignored. For example, among others, senior leader and Lok Sabha MP Krishan Pal Gurjar was named. If he/she could not get a ticket for his/her son, at least five of his/her supporters are included in the list, said a source.

Intention not to offend the veterans

Similarly, Union Minister of State Rao Indrajit Singh, who aspires to become CM, has got a ticket for his/her daughter Arti Singh Rao from Ateli. Apart from this, there are nine supporters on other seats. A leader said that about a dozen candidates have Khattar’s approval. Five candidates are on Saini’s recommendations. Bhiwani-Mahendragarh MP Dharambir Singh got tickets for two of his/her supporters. Former MP Sunita Duggal will now contest from Ratia on behalf of the party.
