Why is the opposition repeatedly targeting BJP through Yogi? Understand the connection of defeat in UP

New Delhi: First Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and now Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut have tried to corner BJP through UP CM Yogi Adityanath. Why is the opposition repeatedly targeting BJP through Yogi? When Kejriwal came out on bail during the Lok Sabha election campaign, he/she claimed in his/her first press conference that if BJP forms the government at the center again, the first person he/she will replace is UP CM Yogi Adityanath. There was a lot of commotion and discussion about this statement. Now when Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis took responsibility for the defeat and offered to resign after BJP’s poor performance in Maharashtra, Sanjay Raut linked it to Yogi.

An attempt to put pressure on Adityanath?

Raut said that efforts are being made to put pressure on Yogi Adityanath on the pretext of Devendra Fadnavis. There is a reason behind the opposition taking Yogi’s name again and again. Even before Kejriwal said that the BJP will remove Yogi, it was being discussed in political circles and from social media to drawing room gossip. This discussion started after different statements of some big leaders of UP. There was also a discussion that Yogi will be replaced after the elections and even before the elections, there were reports of everything not being well between Yogi and BJP’s Delhi leaders.

Who is responsible for the defeat in UP?

This discussion is gaining momentum again and again because there is speculation and a power struggle going on in BJP about who will succeed Modi. Amit Shah’s supporters see him/her as the biggest contender while Yogi’s supporters consider Yogi as the strongest contender. This war has intensified after the Lok Sabha election results, especially Modi and Yogi supporters are seen blaming each other for the defeat in UP on social media. BJP has suffered a major setback in UP. While Amit Shah’s supporters say that Yogi is the reason behind the defeat in UP, Yogi’s supporters are openly blaming Amit Shah’s interference. Although no party official has given any statement on this, but in politics the atmosphere tells the story more than the statement.
