Why is the first anniversary of Ayodhya celebrated on 11 January instead of 22 January? You may not even know the reason.

We all know that Ram Lala’s life was consecrated in the Ram temple of Ayodhya on 22 January 2024. You may not even realize how quickly a year passed, but those who brought the Ram temple here must have been waiting for a year. But do you know, instead of celebrating the one year anniversary of Ayodhya on 22nd January, it is celebrated today i.e. on 11th January. Now you too must be wondering what is the reason for celebrating January 11, so let us give you complete information through this article.

Will be celebrated on 11th instead of 22nd

If we look at the Hindu calendar, then in the year 2024, January 22 was the Dwadashi date of Shukla Paksha of Paush month. It is also called Kurma Dwadashi. In the year 2025, this coincidence is taking place on 11th January, hence instead of going by the date, the first anniversary of Ram temple is being celebrated on 11th January keeping in view the Hindu calendar.

A coincidence has been happening since this time

In the year 2025, on the 10th of January in the month of Pausha, the Dwadashi Tithi of Shukla Paksha has started at 10.19 am. And talking about its end, it will happen on January 11 at 8:21 am.

The festival is going to last for three days

On the day of the first anniversary of Ram Mandir, a program will be organized for three days in the courtyard of Ram Mandir. This program will start from January 11 and will run till January 13. During this time, on the first day, UP CM Yogi Adityanath will come here and perform the aarti of Lord Shri. Along with this, many cultural programs will also be organized here for three days.
