Why did Yuvraj Singh suddenly reach Delhi High Court? he/she dragged the builder to court when he/she played a ‘game’ with his/her flat


New Delhi: Former all-rounder of the Indian cricket team, Yuvraj Singh has approached the Delhi High Court against a builder. Yuvraj Singh has dragged the builder to court because he/she has accused him/her of playing with his/her flat. The Delhi High Court issued a notice to the real estate company on Yuvraj Singh’s petition on Tuesday.

Seeking relief from the Delhi High Court, Yuvraj Singh has sought the appointment of an arbitrator to decide the dispute in his/her petition. Justice C Hari Shankar heard Yuvraj Singh’s petition on Tuesday and sought a response from real estate firm Brilliant Etoile Private Limited.

what is the matter
Yuvraj Singh has alleged violation of personality rights and delay in delivery of the flat booked by him/her with the company. Yuvraj Singh had booked a flat with the company in Hauz Khas, Delhi in 2021. At that time the price of that flat was said to be around ₹ 14.10 crores. The former cricketer, who was a part of the world champion team, got the flat in November 2023, but when he/she saw the flat, he/she found that the quality had been compromised.

What allegations did Yuvraj make
Former cricketer Yuvraj Singh said that the builder compromised on quality and reduced the quality of fittings, furnishings, lights and finishing of the flat. Due to this, the former Indian batsman demanded compensation for the delay in giving the flat and using poor quality materials in it.
