Prithvi Shaw has remembered his/her childhood days. Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) is going to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Wankhede Stadium on 19 January. Shaw has asked everyone to participate in this.

New Delhi. Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) is going to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Wankhede Stadium on January 19, where the legends of Indian cricket will be honoured. Former Indian captains like Sachin Tendulkar, Rohit Sharma and Dilip Vengsarkar will attend this special ceremony. Apart from this, Ravi Shastri, Ajinkya Rahane, Suryakumar Yadav will be part. Prithvi Shaw, who made his/her mark as a young talent on the grounds of Mumbai, refreshed his/her memories of Wankhede Stadium.

Shaw told that he/she went to Wankhede Stadium for the first time during the 2011 World Cup final, when there was a match between India and Sri Lanka and India won the trophy. Shaw said, “My first memory, which I will remember for the rest of my life, is watching the 2011 World Cup. I was 11 years old at that time. I and my friend Arjun Tendulkar, both of us sat here and watched that match live. I still remember the moment when India won the World Cup. That experience was amazing for me.”

he/she further said, “As children, we always dreamed of playing at the Wankhede Stadium. Now when the 50th anniversary of Mumbai Cricket Association is being celebrated, I feel that everyone should come and participate in this celebration. This is for all Mumbaikars. Everyone should come on 19th and be a part of this grand celebration.”

Let us tell you that Prithvi Shaw’s cricket career is currently going through ups and downs. he/she was dropped from Mumbai’s Ranji Trophy team due to disciplinary reasons, and his/her batting performance has also not been good. As a result, he/she also remained unsold in the 2025 Indian Premier League (IPL) auction.
