When will we go and stay there? “I know I will never be there,” he/she said. I don’t know how long I will stay with you, but keep this flat until you complete your service as Justice. I asked him/her, why so? So he/she said, if you ever feel that your morals or intellectual integrity are being compromised, I want you to know that you have a roof over your head. he/she further said that my father had said that while being a lawyer or a judge, never compromise with your principles thinking that you do not have your own house.

Justice Sanjiv Khanna, who is going to be the next Chief Justice of India (CJI), today appointed Justice D.Y. Chandrachud was praised a lot. he/she said that Justice Chandrachud has done remarkable work in making the Supreme Court better. Speaking at the farewell function organized by the Supreme Court Bar Association (SCBA), Justice Khanna said that Chandrachud tried to make the Supreme Court accessible to all. Justice Khanna, in his/her address, also said that the departure of Justice Chandrachud will create a huge void in the Supreme Court. his/her departure will definitely be a loss.
