Why did Ishan Kishan not listen to BCCI, gave a statement about not playing Ranji, broke his/her silence

New Delhi. Indian cricket team’s wicketkeeper batsman Ishan Kishan is currently out of the team. Before the Test series played in South Africa last year, he/she decided to leave the tour and return. Since then, the selectors have not given him/her a place in Team India. This year, Ishan Kishan was also excluded from the players’ annual contract. Now the selectors did not give him/her a chance even in the series being played against Zimbabwe. This player has broken his/her silence regarding all this.

After winning the ICC T20 World Cup, the Indian team has reached Zimbabwe with a team of young players. The selectors have given a chance to the players who have performed well in the Indian Premier League and domestic cricket in this team, but Ishan Kishan’s name was not included in it. The BCCI had ordered all the players to play domestic cricket for their respective state teams. Ishan Kishan neither played in the Ranji Trophy nor was seen playing for the Jharkhand team in any other tournament.

Ishaan Kishan broke his/her silence
Ishan Kishan, who has confirmed his/her place in the Indian team, created a stir by scoring a double century against Bangladesh in ODI. Now he/she is struggling to make a place in the team. Talking to Indian Express about this, he/she has given his/her clarification. Ishan said, I decided to take a break from cricket, when I did this, I thought it was a normal thing. BCCI has a rule that if a player wants to return to the team, he/she has to do well in domestic cricket.

he/she further said, it was not that easy, playing domestic cricket was very different for me because it did not make any sense. Actually, I was not in the mood to play at that time, that is why I decided to quit international cricket and take a break. I did not understand this, if someone takes a break from international cricket and is asked to play matches in domestic cricket, then would it not have been better if I had not taken a break and continued playing international cricket.

Ishaan further said, all these things were not so easy, it was very disappointing for me. Today I will not say that everything was fine. All these things were not easy for me at all. You suffer a lot when all these things keep going on in your mind. I too was thinking in my mind that I don’t know what will happen, what has happened. Why is this happening to me? The biggest thing is that when all this happened, my performance was going very well.
