When Vijay Amritraj talked to Aamir about tennis and told him/her that he/she was a good player at the junior level and was also the Maharashtra state champion, Aamir blushed and said that although he/she was good at the game, he/she did not think he/she would have been able to do anything in this field. he/she said, ‘I don’t think I could have ever reached any significant level in it. But I really enjoyed the game and hence I had a lot of fun while playing it. And then one day, my father decided that I should stop playing. So I stopped playing.’

‘It’s good that I didn’t continue with tennis’

Aamir further said, ‘I think I am very happy where I am. And it is also good for tennis that I did not continue it.’ Aamir Khan attended Wimbledon for the second time. Earlier in 2023, he/she had come to watch the men’s final with all three children – Aira, Junaid and Azad.
