Aamir Khan On Ex Wife Kiran Rao: Aamir Khan is called Mr. Perfectionist of Bollywood. This Bollywood superstar has given many blockbuster films, although the actor’s last release film ‘Lal Singh Chadha’ was a flop. Since then he/she has taken a long break from films. Amidst all this, the actor had talked about his/her relationship with his/her ex-wife Kiran Rao during an interview. he/she called his/her relationship with Kiran unique. The couple, who separated two years ago after 15 years of marriage, still respect each other a lot.

What did Aamir Khan say on divorce with Kiran Rao
Aamir Khan divorced his/her first wife Reena Dutta in 2002. After this, in the year 2005, Mr. Perfectionist married Kiran. While giving an interview to News 18, the actor told that there was a definite change in his/her bonding with Kiran, which led to the decision of their separation. Aamir had said, “Kiran and I are really family. But there was a significant change in our relationship as husband and wife and we wanted to respect the institution of marriage. However, we are always going to be by each other’s side. We were working together, we lived close by. But we were no longer husband and wife and hence we decided to separate.”

What was the reason for Aamir Khan’s divorce from Kiran Rao?
During the interview, Aamir Khan had also revealed that contrary to the reports, “When Reena and I parted ways, there was no one in my life. Many people think that Kiran and I met before Reena’s divorce but this is not true. Kiran and I had met but we didn’t really know each other and we became friends much later. he/she also clarified that his/her relationship with Kiran did not end because of someone else. “There was none then, there is none now.”

Kiran and Aamir’s equation is difficult to understand
he/she further said that due to respect and love for each other and the institution of marriage, both took a big decision. he/she said, “I understand that people do not understand our equation. It is difficult for people to understand. It is because, usually we do not see this kind of bond.”

Aamir and Kiran have a son, Azad Rao Khan
Aamir and Kiron have a son, Azad Rao Khan. Azad was born through surrogacy in 2011. Aamir, however, had said that there had been a change in their relationship and they had talked about it several times. Where Kiran used to tell him/her, “When we discuss something as a family, I always get lost somewhere.” She considers me “a different kind of person.” Aamir also confessed that Kiron used to tell him/her that she loved his/her “mind and personality”. So she was against me changing anything to save our marriage. But today when I look at what Kiran said seven years ago, I say that in the last 6-7 months, I have seen a lot of changes in me.

Aamir also shared that he/she has been lucky in terms of women in his/her life. Pointing towards his/her first partner Reena Dutta, he/she said this. Reena and Amiri have a daughter Ira and a son Junaid. Reena was also the producer of many of Aamir’s films including Lagaan.
