Who will be the captain of Team India after Rohit Sharma, Gavaskar revealed the name

New Delhi. Sunil Gavaskar says that after Rohit Sharma, Team India will be captained by Jasprit Bumrah. Gavaskar has made this prediction considering Bumrah’s excellent performance on the recent Australia tour. Bumrah got a chance to showcase his/her leadership skills in two test matches on the Australia tour. Gavaskar is impressed by Bumrah’s leadership skills. Bumrah took maximum 32 wickets in 5 test matches on Australia tour. This is the best performance by a foreign fast bowler in Australia. Under the captaincy of Bumrah, the team had won the opening match of this series played in Perth.

Sunil Gavaskar told ‘Channel 7’, ‘he/she (Bumrah) can be the next captain of the team. he/she leads the team with great responsibility, his/her image is very good, he/she has the qualities of a captain and he/she is not someone who puts unnecessary pressure on you. Sometimes you have captains who put a lot of pressure on you. Looking at Bumrah, it seems that he/she expects others to do only what is their job. he/she should do the work for which he/she is in the national team but does not put pressure on anyone for it.
