Who will be Jaiswal’s partner in Perth…Rahul- Ishwaran failed, Jurel became the troubleshooter

New Delhi. Who will open with Yashasvi Jaiswal in Perth Test in Australia? There are two weeks left for the start of the Border Gavaskar Trophy between India and Australia. But Team India is wrestling with who will be Yashasvi’s partner in the first test. Captain Rohit Sharma will not be available for the Perth Test due to personal reasons. In his/her absence, the team management is thinking of fielding Abhimanyu Easwaran in the opening, but Easwaran has not played any big innings while playing for India A against Australia A. Easwaran failed in 3 innings against the A team on the current Australia tour. Whereas KL Rahul also flopped in the first innings, while in place of Ishan Kishan, wicketkeeper Dhruv Jurel has presented his/her claim by scoring a half-century.

Abhimanyu Easwaran, who has been scoring runs consistently in domestic cricket, has disappointed the team on the current Australia tour. In the first unofficial test played in Mackay, a total of 19 runs were scored from Easwaran’s bat. After this, he/she had a golden opportunity to prove himself in the second match but Easwaran disappointed in the first innings of this match being played at the Melbourne Cricket Ground. Despite playing three balls, he/she was out without opening the account. Till the time of writing the news, India A had scored 146 runs for 8 wickets in the first innings. Jurel was playing after scoring 78 runs on 172 balls. Captain Ruturaj Gaikwad flopped again. he/she walked away after scoring 4 runs.

KL Rahul was out after playing 4 balls
KL Rahul opened with Abhimanyu Easwaran for India A in the second unofficial Test match. But after playing four balls, Rahul was sent to the pavilion by Boland. Rahul was out after scoring four runs. Like his/her fellow opener Easwaran, Rahul was beaten on a good ball. The ball going to the fourth stump took the edge of Rahul’s bat and he/she handed the catch to the wicketkeeper and walked away. The Indian team management decided to send Rahul to Australia early so that he/she could get match practice. But Rahul failed in the first innings.

Rahul has a bad opening record in Australia
KL Rahul’s average after 47 matches as an opening batsman is less than 35. he/she has scored only 187 runs in Australia at an average of 20.77. In their unofficial Test against Australia A, captain Ruturaj Gaikwad opened with Abhimanyu Easwaran. But KL Rahul has entered with Abhimanyu in the second match to be played in Melbourne. There will also be a competition between Abhimanyu Easwaran and KL Rahul as to who scores more runs.

Ishan Kishan out, Jurel gets a chance
The wicketkeeper has also been changed in the second unofficial test match against Australia A. Dhruv Jurel is handling the responsibility of wicketkeeper for India A instead of Ishan Kishan. By scoring a half-century in the first match, Jurel has staked his/her claim to be ready for the Border Gavaskar Trophy. Ishan Kishan flopped in the first match.
