Shyam, born on 20 February 1920 in Sialkot, made his/her acting debut in 1942 with the Punjabi film ‘Gowandhi’. After this, he/she did many films, including names like ‘Man Ki Jeet’, ‘Room Number 9’ and ‘Majboor’. Shyam worked in many films of Bombay Talkies and they formed a strong bond.
