Who is Amir Tamim bin al-Thani?

Al-Thani has come on a tour of India for the second time

On Tuesday morning, the rich of Qatar will be formally welcomed in the premises of Rashtrapati Bhavan, after which he/she will have a meeting with Prime Minister Modi in ‘Hyderabad House’. The Ministry of External Affairs told that Al-Thani has visited India on the invitation of Prime Minister Modi. This is the second visit to India of Qatar. Earlier, he/she came to India in March 2015. India and Qatar have deep historical relations based on friendship, faith and mutual honors. In recent years between the two countries, relations in various fields including trade, investment, energy, technology, culture have been continuously strengthened.
