This wicketkeeper batsman from Samoa has made a world record for scoring the most runs in an over in the T20 World Cup 2026 qualifier match against Vanuatu. 28-year-old Visser scored 39 runs in a single over. he/she left behind legendary all-rounders Yuvraj Singh, Kieron Pollard and Dipendra Singh Airee who had scored 36 runs in an over. 28-year-old Visser has created a sensation by scoring a century in the third T20 of his/her career. he/she is the only batsman from Samoa to score a century in T20 International cricket.

Darius Visser played for St George District and Sydney University in Sydney grade cricket during his/her college days. Visser is from Sydney, Australia but he/she plays international cricket for Samoa. According to his/her LinkedIn profile, Darius Visser is the director of Hype Cricket Academy, which helps professional cricketers from England and Australia to reach the peak of their potential through development programs. In the T20 World Cup 2024 Qualifier, Darius Visser became the first Samoan cricketer to score a century in T20 International cricket.
