New Delhi. Trinibago Knight Riders opener Shakakere Paris has created a stir in the cricket world by hitting a 124-meter long six. This young batsman achieved this great feat in the 19th match of the Caribbean Premier League 2024. he/she achieved this feat against Guyana Amazon Warriors in the match played in Port of Spain. This six of Shakakere has become one of the longest sixes in the CPL. 21-year-old Shakakere equaled the IPL record during this period. The record of hitting the longest six in IPL is registered in the name of Albie Morkel and Praveen Kumar. Both hit the same 124-meter long six in IPL which is the longest six of this league.

The third over of Trinibago Knight Riders’ innings was bowled by left-arm spinner Gudakesh Moti, playing for Guyana Amazon Warriors. Moti tossed the third ball of his/her over outside the off stump. After this, Shakkere Parris, without moving his/her head, took out his/her front foot and sent the ball out of the boundary line towards wide long on. The ball fell on the roof of the stadium. Seeing Paris’ six, the mouths of the spectators sitting in the stadium including bowler Moti were left open. When the distance of the ball was measured, it turned out to be 124 meters. Shakkere Parris played an innings of 35 runs off 40 balls in this match. his/her team won the match by 5 wickets with 4 balls remaining.
