Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor was recently in Goa. he/she attended the IFFI Film Festival organized on the occasion of Raj Kapoor’s 100th anniversary. During a conversation with director Rahul Rawail, he/she revealed that from December 13 to 15, the Kapoor family will organize Raj Kapoor Film Festival across the country. For this film festival, Ranbir Kapoor’s uncle Kunal Kapoor has partnered with NFDC, NFAI and Film Heritage of India. Has worked with Raj Kapoor to restore his/her films. Till now he/she has restored at least 10 films.

Talking about the project, Ranbir said, ‘There are a lot of people who have not seen his/her work. Like when I met Alia for the first time, she asked me, who is Kishore Kumar? So this is the circle of life. Artists forget and new artists come. It is very important that we remember our roots.

Ranbir also said that if he/she had a film, he/she would want his/her grandfather to direct it. he/she said, ‘Because he/she made ‘Bobby’ and he/she was always great with love stories. So I would really like to see him/her direct ‘Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani’.

Talking about the work front, Ranbir will be seen in ‘Ramayana: Part 1’. Apart from this, he/she will be seen in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Love and War’.
