Who gave pain to Javed Miandad, Inzamam ul Haq is worried, Younis Khan told what is the treatment

New Delhi. Bangladesh has won the series 2-0 by defeating host Pakistan in the second test match. With this defeat, Pakistan cricket has reached its lowest point. Pakistan’s veteran players are unable to digest this defeat. Former veteran players described the series loss as ‘painful’. This is Pakistan’s sixth defeat in the last 10 test matches on home ground. This is the first time that Bangladesh has defeated Pakistan in a test series.

Former Test captain Javed Miandad said, “It is painful that our cricket has come to this level. Bangladesh should be given credit for their disciplined performance. But the way our batting has collapsed in this series is a bad sign.”

Pakistan had dropped fast bowler Shaheen Shah Afridi from the playing eleven of the second Test. Naseem Shah was rested. Bangladesh batsmen took advantage of this and dominated Pakistan. Pakistan had reduced Bangladesh’s score to 26 runs for six wickets in the first innings, but centurion Liton Das and Mehdi Hasan Miraz saved their team by making a brilliant partnership.

Javed Miandad believes that the players’ confidence has decreased due to the discord in the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB). he/she said, ‘I will not blame only the players. Whatever has happened in the board (PCB) in the last one and a half years and the change in captaincy and management has affected the team.’

Former captain Inzamam-ul-Haq said that losing three series and not being able to win at home in nine Test matches is a worrying record. he/she said, ‘Home series was always considered the best opportunity to defeat the best teams. But this will happen only when the batsmen score runs, which is not happening right now.’

Veteran batsman Younis Khan said that when a team enters a losing streak mentally, it becomes difficult to make a comeback. he/she said, ‘Our batsmen have scored runs in the past but right now I think they need to be mentally strong to overcome this crisis.’

With this defeat, Pakistan’s chances of reaching the final of the World Test Championship are almost over. Captain Shan Masood’s lack of runs has made his/her poor performance as captain worse as he/she has now lost all five Tests at home and the poor form of senior batsman Babar Azam has added to his/her troubles.

However, Test team coach Jason Gillespie and ODI-T20 team coach Gary Kirsten have advised the PCB and selectors not to panic as this will further reduce the confidence of the players. Meanwhile, Gillespie and high performance coach Tim Nielsen will return to Australia for a short break.
