Who can do love, friendship and leadership like Ratan Tata? Why does it feel as if one of our own is gone?

Ratan Tata, a name that the people of India used to take with pride. Whenever he/she heard or talked about them, it felt as if he/she was talking about someone close to him/her. A businessman making a home in the hearts of the general public in this way is no less than a fictional story. But Tata was Tata. Be it love, friendship or leadership, it is not easy to be like him/her. This is the reason why it is difficult to imagine that any other businessman will ever get the love that Tata received from the people.

There is such sadness after losing the business tycoon at the age of 86, as if everyone has lost a loved one. After all, what was it about Ratan Tata that, despite being a calculative businessman, made him/her a person with whom people could connect and look up to as their inspiration. Fell in love, got heart broken but didn’t let myself be broken

Ratan Tata had told in an interview given to Humans of Bombay that he/she had fallen in love with a girl in Los Angeles. Due to some family reasons, Tata had to return to India. he/she wanted his/her girlfriend to also come here. However, the girl’s parents did not allow her to do so due to the Indo-China War of 1962. And Tata’s love story remained incomplete.

This entire episode was heartbreaking for Ratan Tata. In such a situation people get scattered and broken. It seems as if they have lost the purpose of their life. But Tata neither allowed himself to be broken nor did he/she allow any kind of bitterness or hatred to form in his/her heart. Rather, gentleness was always visible in his/her personality.

Everyone can guess what status people would occupy in Ratan Tata’s circle. his/her friend circle was full of the most powerful people in the world. But friendship cannot be measured on power and money.

Ratan seemed to be giving a clear message about this. In the year 2022, a young boy Shantanu Naidu joined Tata company and no one had imagined that Ratan would extend his/her hand of friendship to him/her. It is said that the bond between the two was such that Tata used to share his/her things openly with Shantanu, who was less than half his/her age.

There is no doubt that Ratan Tata, like other businessmen, used to take every step by multiplying it. When he/she took decisions, he/she kept his/her heart aside. When someone is running such a big business empire, it becomes necessary for him/her to do so.

However, Ratan never sold his/her integrity to earn profit. This is the reason why whenever the name Tata was associated with anything, people automatically started trusting it. In today’s time, it is difficult to imagine that anyone would feel this way for any other tycoon. That’s why people considered him/her an ideal for themselves and will continue to consider him/her.

Wealth worth billions but love for simplicity

Ratan Tata was the owner of property worth billions, but the simplicity, politeness and smile with which he/she always appeared in front of everyone taught us how a person could remain connected to the earth despite having wealth.

Hardly anyone finds any video or photo of Ratan Tata in which he/she is seen deliberately flexing his/her wealth in front of others. This personality of his/her was a lesson especially for those people who, as soon as they become rich, start considering others as dust at their feet.

Ratan Tata believed in improving the society. he/she truly wanted to do something for the people. According to a report, when he/she was alive, he/she had donated a total of Rs 9000 crore for education, health, rural development, social service etc.

Not only this, Tata even brought Nano for the people of the country. No one had even imagined that they could become the owner of a car for a little more than Rs 1 lakh. But this was Ratan’s dream. he/she wanted to give affordable cars to his/her Indians.

While on one hand people start focusing only on their luxuries as soon as they get wealth, on the other hand Tata taught that it is everyone’s responsibility to do something for the society and the country. And whether it is through charity or through some decisions, everyone should cooperate in this.
