Who apologized to Rana ji before the Battle of Brisbane?

brisbaneFrom becoming the pinnacle of Indian cricket after his/her brilliant debut in Perth to ‘quota’ selection after a disappointing performance in Adelaide, Harshit Rana has now seen the entire gamut of emotions from fans. That is why the one player who came from Adelaide with the most pressure on reaching Brisbane is fast bowler Harshit Rana.
After Perth, Harshit Rana had become the biggest discovery of Indian cricket. his/her aggression, his/her hit-the-deck bowling, his/her first innings delivery to dismiss Travis Head, all together the selection of Rana ji was considered a masterstroke. Now, in less than a fortnight and after a poor performance, Rana is under doubt. Critics even went so far as to say that he/she was a “quota” selection based on Gautam Gambhir’s Kolkata Knight Riders connections.

Rana ji please forgive the fans

Making hero in a moment, becoming zero in a moment is not a new thing for Indian cricket fans. Neither did Rana become the greatest bowler after Perth, nor is he/she a rubbish bowler after Adelaide. The truth is that one of his/her innings was bad. Head targeted Harshit on his/her home ground and Rana was defeated. The big question is, how many times has Rana bowled with the pink ball? On how many occasions has he/she visited Australia? How is it that he/she cannot fail when he/she has little or no experience of bowling under lights with the pink ball? Now suddenly the demand for playing Akash Deep has started rising. As if the involvement of the sky would solve every problem. And if he/she fails, he/she too will soon be deemed fit for the dustbin.
One thing is clear that there is a lack of patience among Indian cricket fans and Rana’s case is a vivid example of this. A young man who has recently stepped into international cricket and performed very well on his/her debut has performed poorly in only one innings and is being sidelined as a result.

Rana should be fielded in Brisbane

Some cricket experts in Australia still believe that Team India should once again go with Rana in Brisbane. Gaba’s conditions will suit him/her, and no experiments are required. A good practice session with Harshit in Brisbane can make him/her a better bowler. It is important to be patient with the bowlers too. Remember, the great Sir Curtly Ambrose was also limited to seven wickets in six innings in his/her first series. Every fast bowler takes some time to adjust and Rana is no different. he/she had influence in Perth and will continue to have influence in Brisbane too. It is important that coach Gambhir, bowling coach Morne Morkel and captain Rohit should talk to him/her in Brisbane. Back Harshit and give him/her confidence. Rana will be a better cricketer after Adelaide, and if he/she does well for India in Brisbane, it would not be wrong to give him/her another chance.
