Whether we form the government for the fourth time or not… what did Nitin Gadkari say about Athawale!

New Delhi: A statement by Union Road Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari is in the news. he/she jokingly said about Union Minister Ramdas Athawale that there is no guarantee of our formation of government for the fourth time, but no matter which government comes, Ramdas Athawale is sure to become a minister again. Ramdas Athawale is the head of the Republican Party of India and he/she has been a minister in all three NDA governments.

Gadkari made this statement at a program held in Nagpur, Maharashtra. Union Minister Ramdas Athawale was also present on the stage in this program. Later, Gadkari clarified that he/she was just joking. Earlier, Athawale had expressed confidence that if BJP comes to power again, this trend will continue.

Athawale demanded 10-12 seats in Maharashtra

Athawale on Sunday said his/her party RPI (A), which is an ally in Maharashtra’s ruling Mahayuti government, should get a chance to contest at least 10 to 12 seats in the upcoming assembly elections. Athawale said the RPI-A will contest on its own symbol and demand three to four seats in Vidarbha, including North Nagpur, Umred (Nagpur), Umarkhed in Yavatmal and Washim.

RPI is part of BJP alliance

Athawale’s party is part of the Mahayuti alliance, which includes the BJP, Shiv Sena led by Chief Minister Eknath Shinde and Ajit Pawar’s NCP. The Union minister said his/her party has prepared a list of 18 probable seats, which it will share with Mahayuti allies in a few days and hopes to get at least 10 to 12 seats in the seat sharing.
