Advocate Shivaji Shukla says that the police can also investigate these people in such a way whether he/she had committed any crime in India. After this he/she fled to America. Or with the help of human smugglers, he/she fled to America with ‘Danki Route’. It will also be seen that they had some fake documents. If these things are found in the investigation, then necessary legal action can be taken against them. It will also be seen whether they had a valid passport or not.

How much punishment can be done, know this

According to Advocate Shivaji Shukla, there will be no legal action against illegal migrants on returning to the country. If someone took a way to flee to America by cheating, manipulating, then there is a provision of punishment and fine from one to seven years in such cases against such people. • Passport is rigged
• Passport has been destroyed.

According to the USCBP, 1,49,000 Indians were detained in an attempt to illegally enter the US between February 2019 and March 2023. Most of these people were from Gujarat and Punjab. At the same time, according to a recent study by Pew Research Center, more than 7,25,000 Indians are living illegally in the US.
