New Delhi. The Indian cricket team has toured Zimbabwe immediately after the ICC T20 World Cup. Most of the players of the World Cup winning team are not part of this team. The selectors have made Shubman Gill the captain of the team on this tour. Team India lost the first match of the 5-match T20 series against Zimbabwe. Making a strong comeback in the second match, India won the match by 100 runs and achieved a 1-1 draw in the series. Now the third match is to be played on July 10.

All eyes are on India and Zimbabwe at this time. After scoring 115 runs in the first match, the host team surprised everyone by getting a 13-run win by bowling out India for just 102 runs. India has come to play this series under the captaincy of Shubman Gill. The selectors have given a chance to the young players by resting the senior players. After losing the first match, India scored 234 runs for 2 wickets in the second T20 on the basis of a century by opener Abhishek Sharma. By bowling out Zimbabwe for 134 runs, India won the match by 100 runs and leveled the series.

3rd T20 on Wednesday
After equalizing the series, the Indian team will play the third match against Zimbabwe on Wednesday, July 10. The first match was played on 6th while the second T20 match was played on 7th July. After playing two matches in two consecutive days, both the teams were given two days rest. After playing the third match, the fourth and fifth T20 matches are also to be played consecutively. The fourth match will be played on 13th July while the last match will be played on 14th July.
