When the patient did not get the visa, he/she went to Sri Lanka and performed the operation, the Indian doctor brought light to the life of the PAK patient.

New Delhi: Doctor is given the status of God in this world. An example of this has recently been presented by Dr. Quresh Maskati, an eye surgeon from Mumbai. he/she has restored the eyesight of a patient from Pakistan this month. Dr. Quresh Maskati has operated that patient’s eyes neither in Pakistan nor in India, he/she has operated the eyes of that patient in Sri Lanka. Let us know what is the whole matter

Now the patient can see

A 30-year-old man from Lahore met with an accident four years ago in which alkali fell on his/her face and he/she lost his/her eyesight. Two cornea transplants of his/her left eye had also failed. Eventually, Dr. Qureshi Maskati, an eye surgeon from Mumbai, decided to help him/her. Dr. Maskati had met the patient during a conference in Pakistan. he/she felt that the patient’s eyes could be cured with an artificial cornea. However, the patient could not get a visa to India for treatment. After which the doctor decided to treat him/her in Sri Lanka.

The patient returned to Pakistan

Dr. Maskati told that I was going to a conference in Colombo. So I asked for a license from the Sri Lankan Medical Council to operate on that patient there, and they gave me permission.Dr. Maskati, with the help of local eye surgeon Dr. Kusum Ratnayake, operated on the patient in Colombo on 13 September.

The patient regained partial vision within 48 hours of the operation. he/she returned to his/her home on 24 September. The patient told that he/she is able to see his/her family for the first time after four years. he/she told that while I was cleaning the attic of my house, a bottle of alkaline solution broke and its contents fell on my head and face.
