When the Lok Sabha Speaker said- I do not eat fish, I am a vegetarian, know why he/she said this

New Delhi: Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla responded to a comment by BJP MP Rajiv Pratap Rudy during the Question Hour in the House on Tuesday. Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla said that I am not a fish and I am a vegetarian. Asked the supplementary questions related to the Ministry of Fisheries, Animal Husbandry and Dairy in the House, Rudy said that 95 crore people in the country eat fish and one crore people are associated with fish yield and fishing.
BJP MP Rudy further said that president, I do not know whether you eat fish or not. On this, Om Birla said that I do not eat fish. I am a vegetarian. Rudy’s supplementary question was answered by Fisheries, Animal Husbandry and Dairy Minister Rajiv Ranjan Singh alias Lalan Singh. he/she said that after the formation of the government under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, fish yield has increased by more than 100 percent in the last decade.

Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla said on Tuesday that now there will be language conversion of the proceedings of the House in six more languages ​​including Sanskrit, Urdu and Maithili. The language conversion of the proceedings of the House was earlier taking place in 10 regional languages ​​besides English and Hindi. Birla said that it is his/her endeavor that the adaptation of the proceedings of the House should be together in all the 22 languages ​​recognized.

Om Birla said that with the availability of human resources, this will be ensured. Now the proceedings of the House will be transformed into Bodo, Dogri, Maithili, Manipuri, Sanskrit and Urdu. he/she said that the Parliament of India is the only legislative body in the world where action is being converted together in so many languages. DMK MP Dayanidhi Maran objected to the decision of conversion of action in Sanskrit language.

Dayanidhi Maran said that according to the government data, only 73 thousand people in the country speak Sanskrit, so why the money of taxpayers is being wasted. Birla dismissed his/her objection and said in which country are you living? The basic language of India has been Sanskrit. Why did you object to Sanskrit? We are talking about conversion in all 22 languages.
