Mumbai After the Indian cricket team won the T20 World Cup on Thursday, a victory procession was taken out in the country’s financial capital Mumbai. During the victory parade, so many fans gathered on Marine Drive that there were only people everywhere. There was no place to even put a foot there. From Nariman Point to Wankhede Stadium, wherever you looked, you could only see fans participating in the victory celebrations of Team India. Amidst the victory celebrations, something happened in Mumbai that no one had expected. A large number of fans lost their mobile phones.

Mumbai Police says that mobile phones of at least 60 fans who had gathered for the huge victory parade held at Marine Drive for the Indian team that won the T20 World Cup were stolen. A written complaint has been filed with Mumbai Police in this regard. The police have registered a case and started investigation. Rohit Sharma and company had reached Mumbai after defeating South Africa in the final in West Indies. In such a situation, the fans were also in a celebratory mood.

Police said, “At least 64 people who came to watch the Vijay Jhoola lost their mobile phones. After the program, about 60 people reached Marine Drive police station to lodge a complaint. Four complaints were registered online. 13 phones found on the road were returned to their owners.” The officer said that no complaints of theft, misbehavior with women etc. were received during the program. he/she said that the discipline shown by the crowd who came to watch the procession by following the instructions is commendable.
