When Naqvi was trolled on the post on the name on Muzaffarnagar street vendor issue, he/she gave a sharp reply with a photo

New Delhi : BJP leader Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi tweeted sharply on the issue of displaying the names of restaurant owners in view of the Kanwar Yatra in Muzaffarnagar, Uttar Pradesh. Indirectly referring to this order, Naqvi said on Thursday that faith should be respected, but untouchability should not be protected. Naqvi also said that the orders of some over-enthusiastic officials can promote the ‘disease of hasty and confused untouchability’.

When some people tried to troll Naqvi on this tweet, he/she posted another post. Naqvi posted an old picture of himself and wrote, “Hey troller ponies… at least don’t give me the certificate of respect and reverence for the Kanwad Yatra, I always believe that “no faith should be hostage to intolerance and untouchability.” Naqvi also shared an old picture of himself in which he/she is seen carrying a Kanwad on his/her shoulder.
Earlier, Muzaffarnagar police ordered all the eateries located on the Kanwar Yatra route to display the names of their owners, so that ‘confusion’ could be avoided. Opposition parties are seeing this order as an attempt to target traders of a particular community. Earlier, Naqvi had written in his/her tweet that “Don’t ask about birth caste, what is caste and what is the status. Raidas, all are sons of the Lord, no one is of low caste.” Earlier, opposition parties criticized this order of the UP government.
