Route followed to Delhi
There is a huge traffic jam on Anuvrat Marg due to the breakdown of vehicles on both sides and a tree falling near Qutub Minar Metro Station. The police has appealed, if you are going through these routes, then plan your travel carefully.
Patparganj Road in Delhi
Delhi Police has given an update on its ‘X’ account that there is waterlogging around Mother Dairy, Ganesh Nagar, Patparganj Road. This is causing traffic jam. Police has ordered to change the route. If you are going through these routes, then they have also given some alternative options –
- If you are coming from Mother Dairy, take the new Patparganj Road which goes towards Laxmi Nagar.
- The traffic coming from Nirman Vihar has been diverted towards Preet Vihar Police Station.
Dwarka Sector 1
Due to a tree falling on the main road near Rajapuri, there is a long queue of vehicles on the road from Rajapuri Crossing to Sector 1, Dwarka Crossing on Road No. 201. Commuters are advised to avoid this route and plan their journey accordingly.
Nangloi to Tikri Border
There is waterlogging and potholes near Mundka on the way from Nangloi to Tikri border and back due to which traffic on Rohtak road is affected. Please avoid Mundka and take another route.
Mandi Road
There is waterlogging on Mandi Road and municipal work is going on, due to which there is a traffic jam. Please keep this in mind while traveling.
Traffic alert in these areas due to rain
Due to heavy rains on Wednesday, Lutyens Delhi, Kashmiri Gate and Rajendra Nagar along with many other areas are most affected. Traffic police has diverted vehicles coming from Newes Marg towards ISBT Kashmiri Gate via Kodia Bridge, Mori Gate Boulevard Road. There are also reports of cloudburst in Kedarnath, Uttarakhand.
