Sleep becomes a big challenge for new parents after the birth of a baby. They start trying many tricks and efforts to put the baby to sleep and in the midst of all this, they often commit some mistakes knowingly or unknowingly. In such a situation, it is important that they recognize these mistakes in time so that they do not commit these mistakes again.

In such a situation, here are some mistakes related to child’s sleep, which parents, especially new parents, start making. These are quite common mistakes. These can be easily fixed, so learn about them without any delay and avoid making these mistakes.

Many times parents leave their children sleeping at the same place where they fall asleep. For example, if babies fall asleep on the sofa, in their stroller or in a pram, the parents leave them sleeping there for several hours.
Parents feel that they will disturb the baby’s sleep if they go to wake him/her up. But, they do not know that by not doing so they are making the same mistake. Like adults, for babies too, their bed or crib has become a habit for them, in which they sleep comfortably. Therefore, be careful not to make too many changes in their sleeping place.

There is nothing wrong in lighting a light night light or lamp in the child’s room at night. But switching on or off the lights again and again can become a problem for them. Frequent switching on and off of lights can disturb their sleep and they may wake up irritable again and again.

Apart from this, making too much noise in the house while the baby is sleeping can also cause his/her sleep to be disrupted. Therefore, parents should neither make this mistake themselves nor let anyone else make it while the baby is sleeping.
