WhatsApp New Feature: Meta’s messaging platform WhatsApp is going to bring another new feature to make the messaging experience even better for its users. Users can get the feature of audio chat in future. In the information that has come out now, Meta will release this feature for Android users. There is no information about whether it will be rolled out to iOS users or not.

According to WABetainfo, a new icon will be added to the chat header for this feature. With this, users will be able to start audio chat during messaging and a red button will also be given to cut the call.

There will be a new icon in the chat header

The report states that as the waveform icon signifies the possibility of real-time audio visualization, it is likely that the space above the chat header could be fixed to display audio waveforms.

There will also be a new interface for this new feature in which users will be able to see audio chat waveforms while navigating between conversations. According to the report, this feature is still in development mode and is being worked on, so there is no complete information on how it will work.

WhatsApp released desktop app

Let us tell you that before this Meta has released WhatsApp’s Android-like desktop app for its users. It is much faster than the Android version which makes it load in very less time. The interface of this app is similar to the mobile version. Users can now host group video calls with up to eight people and audio calls with up to 32 people.
