In an episode of his/her show, ‘The Big Picture’, Ranveer had revealed one of the names from the list. Talking to a contestant named Shauryaveer, Ranveer Singh asked him/her if he/she could use his/her name if he/she had a baby. he/she said on the show, “I am shortlisting names. If you don’t mind, can I take your name from you, Shauryaveer Singh?” However, since they are blessed with a daughter and not a son, Ranveer will not be able to name her this.

During the promotions of his/her 2022 film ‘Jayeshbhai Jordaar’, Ranveer was asked whether he/she wants a son or a daughter. The actor said that he/she does not care about the gender of the child. he/she said, ‘When you go to the temple, they don’t ask you if you want laddu or sheera. Whatever you get, you take it with full devotion because it is prasad. So the same logic applies here as well.’

Last week, Deepika flaunted her baby bump with a stunning pregnancy photoshoot on Instagram. The actor was also spotted at the Siddhivinayak temple in Mumbai a day before she went into labour. She was accompanied by Ranveer, her parents and her in-laws.
