The top team in each group will automatically qualify for the quarter-finals. Each team will be awarded 2 points for each win in the pool stage. If the match remains a draw, then both the teams will be given one point each. Apart from this, if two teams have the same number of points in the table points, then the ranking of the teams in the group stage will be determined through the tie-breaker rule.
This is how tie-breaker is understood
If both teams have the same number of points, the team with the most wins in the group will rank higher. If both the teams have the same number of points and matches played, then goal difference and goal difference will be considered. The team whose goal difference is better will get higher rank. If all these conditions are equal then the team scoring the most goals will get the higher rank. If the number of goals is also equal for both the teams, then the higher rank will be given to the team based on the results of the matches played between the two teams.
