Stories of betrayal between friends are told differently in new movies too. ZNMD is a super rom com. The movie shows that Farhan Akhtar had an affair with Hrithik Roshan’s girlfriend a few years ago. Farhan betrays his/her friend for the girl. This tension is exposed when Arjun and Imran have an argument and by the end of the movie the two friends reconcile.

student of the year

This is a college romance film based on betrayal. The major twist in the film comes when Abhi (Sidharth Malhotra) falls in love with Shanaya (Alia Bhatt) who is already dating his/her friend Rohan (Varun Dhawan). This ruins their relationship and it takes them a long time to face their past and regain their lost friendship.

Stranger

Kareena and Bobby Deol’s friend Akshay Kumar along with his/her girlfriend Bipasha stabs his/her own friend in the back. The story in the film was twisted in such a way that no one would be able to guess till the end but this thing comes out later.

The cute girl we thought was in the lead role later turned out to be Ronnie’s (Saif) widow who was actually involved in killing him/her along with his/her brother whom she was dating. Couldn’t believe Ronnie fell for her eyes and she betrayed him/her badly.

Maya was a Naagin in the form of a friend. She knew everything about Divya and Lovely’s love story and people didn’t know till the end of the story that she would turn out to be the enemy.
