What is more painful for Yuvraj Singh than defeat in Australia? On Rohit’s decision he/she said – I have never seen it before…

Dubai. For the Indian team, a bigger failure than the defeat in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy was the defeat at the hands of New Zealand at home. This is what veteran all-rounder Yuvraj Singh has to say, who considers the defeat from New Zealand more painful. Last year, India suffered a 0-3 defeat against New Zealand at home, which happened for the first time in Test history. After this, Australia defeated him/her 3-1 in the Border Gavaskar Series.

The team’s batting, especially the poor performance of Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli, was largely responsible for the defeats against Australia and New Zealand. Yuvraj Singh said about this, ‘I think losing to New Zealand is more painful. We lost 3-0 at home. This is absolutely not acceptable. This (losing BGT) can still be accepted because you have won twice in Australia and this time you had to face defeat. Anyway, Australia has been a very strong team for the last several years.

Virat Kohli scored a century against Australia but he/she was consistently out on balls going outside the off stump. On the other hand, Rohit Sharma could score only 31 runs in 5 innings and hence he/she decided not to play in the fifth and final Test match played in Sydney. 43-year-old Yuvraj Singh said about this, ‘We are talking about our legendary players Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma. We are saying very bad things about him/her. People forget what they have achieved in the past. he/she is one of the greatest cricketers of this time. Well, they lost, they didn’t play good cricket. They are more unhappy than us.

Yuvraj Singh said that he/she has full confidence not only in Rohit and Kohli but also in the new head coach Gautam Gambhir, who was also his/her former teammate. he/she said, ‘I think the Indian team right now in Gautam Gambhir as coach, Ajit Agarkar as selector and Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli and Jasprit Bumrah have the best minds with good knowledge of cricket. They have to decide what is the right path for Indian cricket in the future.

Yuvraj Singh also praised Rohit’s decision to stay out of the Sydney Test. he/she said, ‘I think this is a big thing. I have never seen before that the captain’s form was not going well and he/she himself sat out. This is the greatness of Rohit Sharma that he/she put the team ahead of himself. I think he/she is a great captain. Whether we win or lose, he/she will always be a great captain.

Yuvraj urged critics to exercise restraint while analyzing the team’s performance. Yuvraj, who played 304 ODIs, 40 Tests and 58 T20 Internationals for India, said, ‘I can give my opinion and my opinion is that when players are not performing then it is easy to say bad things about them. But it is very difficult to support them. The job of the media is to say bad things about them. My job is to support.
