What is Congress waiting for, are Rahul and Priyanka not understanding this?

New Delhi: After the Haryana election results, Congress leaders are expressing surprise as to how this happened. The party is also not able to accept the reasons for defeat. On the other hand, the Congress high command is also silent but the question is whether it does not know what happened in Haryana. This is not the story of any one state, this has happened in some other states also in the past. The party has had to bear the brunt of this. The Gandhi family also knows this and has suffered setbacks in many states, yet the top leadership has not been able to take any major decision. With the announcement of Haryana elections, there was talk in the entire state that there is factionalism within the Congress Party. There were said to be two factions within the party and a third faction was also present. After the distribution of tickets, factionalism increased further. Amidst all this, the message became clear in Haryana as to where the party is moving forward. Even though no name was taken by Congress, Bhupendra Singh Hooda became an undeclared contender for the post of CM. Here Kumari Shailaja was also not backing down from her claim.

Gandhi family is also aware of this
The Gandhi family also realized what was happening there. Meanwhile, Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka try to show support to Bhupendra Singh Hooda and Kumari Selja from the election platform. The effort that was made to show it went well among the public and the public also understood that there was something wrong. Knowing all this, the platform through which the Congress high command tried did not work. The result is now visible. There could be some other reasons too, but the thing which was discussed from the first day is being discussed even after the results, so it can be easily understood.

Fight in Punjab till the last moment
Congress had already burnt its hands in Punjab. The Navjot Singh Sidhu for whom Captain Amarinder was sidelined is not only in politics today. The Captain also became a rebel. That means both the Congress leaders are not together. Navjot Singh Sidhu became disillusioned with politics and has returned to the world of cricket commentary. Just before the elections, Charanjit Singh Channi was put forward but the war continued regarding the CM candidate. Before the elections, sometimes Sidhu would come to Delhi and meet Priyanka Gandhi and sometimes someone from Punjab would say something else. When the results come, Congress loses the elections badly here. The party could not take any major decision on the dispute and it had to bear the brunt of it.

The anger in Rajasthan did not stop till the last moment
The whole country saw what happened in Rajasthan. The feud between Ashok Gehlot and Pilot escalated to such an extent that the party started remembering Madhya Pradesh in Rajasthan. Although the matter calmed down then, at the last moment the party appeared in two camps. Some MLAs and ministers were seen with Sachin Pilot and others with Ashok Gehlot. Statements continued from both sides. Amidst this entire fight, the Congress high command only kept playing observer-observer. When the results came out after the elections, the apprehension had turned into reality. Another state had fallen victim to this conflict.

Keep watching ‘Mahabharata’ closely in Madhya Pradesh
The conflict in Madhya Pradesh is not hidden from anyone. The Gandhi family was silent on whatever was going on between Kamal Nath and Jyotiraditya Scindia. The result was that Jyotiraditya Scindia broke his/her own silence and now he/she is with BJP. Jyotiraditya Scindia was then counted among the leaders very close to Rahul Gandhi. The Congress party had to pay a heavy price for this feud in Madhya Pradesh. The party broke and many MLAs along with Jyotiraditya Scindia joined BJP. The government there also left. The party high command kept watching. Even after that, in the elections held, two groups were visible. Once again everything was in the hands of Kamal Nath and when the results came, the party, contrary to expectations, remained away from power.

Why is the Gandhi family hesitant in taking a tough decision?
It is not possible that this will not happen in politics, it happens in other parties also. It has happened in the past and will happen in the future too. It is also inside BJP. But Congress has had to pay a higher price for this in recent times. Why is the Congress high command, especially Rahul Gandhi, unable to take any major decision on such disputes? How was the atmosphere created in favor of the party after the Lok Sabha elections suddenly shaken? Despite the fear that no one’s name was put forward in Haryana, no benefit was found. Either she would have put forward the name strongly or would have firmly stated that the decision would be taken only after the elections. There may be a third person also. But like before, Congress kept watching here also.
This is not just a story of these states but everyone knows what is going on in Himachal and Karnataka also. Despite this the Congress leadership is silent. Why does the party hesitate in taking tough and big decisions and that too when one state after another is falling victim to the same conflict. The party needs to think about what will be the point of not accepting defeat.
