New Delhi. Afghanistan has achieved the success which the Test teams of India and Pakistan could not achieve. This team created a stir on its very first foreign tour. Afghanistan won the test series by defeating Zimbabwe in the second test match played in Bulawayo. The visiting team all out Zimbabwe for 205 runs in the second innings and won the two-match series 1-0. The first test match was a draw. With this victory, Afghanistan created history.

By winning in its first tour outside Asia, the Afghanistan team has registered its name in the record books. Afghanistan has become the first Asian team to win its first Test series outside Asia. Asian teams usually face difficulties in their initial Test tours and yearn for victory. The Afghanistan team has proved all these things wrong. This team made its debut in Test cricket against India in the year 2018.
