If the patient is breathing and has a pulse while unconscious, he/she is allowed to recover and his/her breathing is checked every 2 minutes.
If the patient has a pulse and is not breathing, then he/she is given 10-12 breaths per minute through mouth and the pulse is checked every 2 minutes.
If the patient is not breathing and has a pulse, then chest compression is started.
The windpipe is opened by lying on the back and lifting the chin.
Then two breaths are released from your mouth into his/her mouth.
After this, both the hands are placed in the middle of the chest up and down and pressed with the palm 30 times. Breath is given again. Similar process is done for some time.
If the child is small or newborn then fingers are used instead of the hand.
