New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi Have reached Kazan city of Russia to participate in the 16th BRICS Summit. During this, he/she met Russian President Vladimir Putin and held bilateral talks with him/her. Prime Minister Modi mentioned the deep friendship between India and Russia in the summit. he/she said that this is his/her second visit to Russia in the last three months. Emphasizing the importance of BRICS, Prime Minister Modi said that India gives it great importance. It has become an important platform for global development. he/she further said that India is ready to provide all possible help for a peaceful resolution of the ongoing Russia-Ukraine conflict. At the same time, Russian President Putin said that cooperation between India and Russia is continuously increasing.

PM Modi mentioned India-Russia friendship

Many issues were discussed in the bilateral talks between Prime Minister Modi and President Putin. These include further strengthening bilateral relations, promotion of trade and investment, defense and security cooperation, energy security, fight against terrorism and cooperation on regional and international issues. Prime Minister Modi said, ‘My two visits to Russia in the last three months reflect our close coordination and deep friendship. In 15 years, BRICS has created its own special identity and now many countries of the world want to join it.

PM Modi expressed gratitude for the hospitality

PM Modi further said, ‘I express my heartfelt gratitude for your friendship, warm welcome and hospitality. It is a great pleasure for me to have the opportunity to travel to a beautiful city like Kazan for the BRICS Summit. India has deep and historical ties with this city. These relations will be further strengthened with the opening of India’s new Consulate in Kazan.

PM Modi said this on Russia-Ukraine war

On the Russia-Ukraine conflict, Prime Minister Modi said, ‘I am in constant touch with you on the subject of the ongoing conflict between Russia and Ukraine. As I have said earlier, we believe that problems should be solved peacefully. We fully support the early restoration of peace and stability. All our efforts give priority to humanity. India is ready to provide all possible support in the times to come.

PM Modi received a warm welcome in Kazan

Earlier, Prime Minister Modi also met people of the Indian community in Kazan and accepted their greetings. During this, students of Indian origin presented songs to welcome Prime Minister Modi. Prime Minister Modi also inaugurated India’s new Consulate in Kazan. he/she said that this will further strengthen relations between the two countries.

PM Modi has reached Kazan for BRICS summit

The BRICS conference this time is important in many ways. This is the first summit after the expansion of the grouping. Earlier this year, BRICS included Egypt, Ethiopia, Iran and the United Arab Emirates as its new members. The conference will discuss global leadership, international relations and cooperation among BRICS countries.
