New Delhi : During the proceedings of the House in the Lok Sabha, there was once again an uproar on the issue of Adani. Congress’ Jorhat MP Gaurav Gogoi tried to corner the Modi government on the tax issue. Gogoi stood up to speak on the Banking Amendment Bill. BJP members protested against Gaurav Gogoi’s statement. Congress leader Venugopal started speaking in support of Gogoi. The Congress MP said that four ministers of the government have stood up to disrupt the speech. Uproar over taking Adani’s name

The Congress MP referred to PM Modi’s statement that if one is safe, he/she is safe. During this, while mentioning CBI and ED, he/she indirectly mentioned the project related to Adani. The Congress MP also targeted Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas. he/she said that we are seeing the development of only one person. On this he/she said why are they so afraid of Adani. The Congress MP said that you are not a servant of Adani, you are a servant of the public. he/she said that the people of the country do not give you salary.

Statement removed from Lok Sabha proceedings

BJP members expressed strong objection to this statement. he/she strictly demanded that the Congress MP’s statement be excluded from the proceedings of the House. After this, amid protests from the ruling party, the presiding speaker removed the statement based on the uproar from the proceedings of the Lok Sabha. The Congress MP also cornered the government on the GDP figures in the last quarter. he/she blamed the government’s policies for the decline in GDP. Presiding Speaker Krishna Prasad Tennetti in the Lok Sabha urged the Congress MP to speak on the bill only.

It lowers the level of discussion in the House

After this, Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju also stood up. he/she said that the proceedings of the House were going on so well today. The Finance Minister has tabled the bill. Here, during the discussion on any bill, if you abuse the PM or take the name of any businessman without setting any limit while speaking on any bill, it lowers the level of discussion. he/she told the Congress MP that the House should run according to the rules. You will not speak whatever you want, you speak on the bill, there is no political speech taking place here.
